What is Cholesterol?
In simple terms- Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance that's found in all the cells in your body!
What does it do?
Well, it helps your body produce hormones, vitamin D, and substances that help you digest your food!
Then why is it bad for me?
Good question! Since your body already produces it, excess cholesterol can combine with other substances in the blood to form plaque which sticks to the walls of your arteries. This buildup can lead to your coronary arteries becoming narrow or even blocked leading to coronary artery disease!
So what should I do?
As always, exercise and healthy eating habits are a great way to maintain your cholesterol levels.
However if all this cholesterol makes you feel guilty you can always have TagZ popped potato chips with 50% less fat and ABSOLUTELY NO CHOLESTEROL!!!
